GAS Day & Night Dehumidifier Controller

The G.A.S Day & Night controllers provide the grower the ability to set parameters for both Day & Night times for their chosen environment adjusting hard ware in an easy & simple way, they are available top control HEATERS, DE-HUMIDIFIERS & HUMIDIFIERS. These controllers are a cheaper & easier way to control hardware than the full ENVIRO-CONTROLLER.   

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

locate a suitable position for your controller. This should be indoors and away from water
and liquids.
The best position for the sensor is the middle of the room.
PLEASE NOTE: We advise that you have good air circulation in your room, this will
prevent hot spots or high humidity zones. The sensor will be more accurate if the air is
moving, therefore making the controller more accurate.
The sensor is a sensitive device. It is sensitive to moisture, do not put the sensor directly
above a humidifier. Do not drop or hit the sensor. Damage to the sensor may not be
covered by the product warranty. KEEP AWAY from water and aerosols.
All electrical connections should be protected from liquids and high moisture. Therefore
ideally only the sensor should be in the area with high humidity.

1. Connect your dehumidifier plug to the controller socket.
2. Ensure the mains socket is switched off.
3. Plug the controller into the mains socket.
4. Place the sensor into the environment to be controlled, following the guidelines
above.
5. Switch the mains socket on.

SETTING THE CONTROLLER

1. Use the left hand dial to set your desired daytime humidity.
2. Use the right hand dial to set your desired night time humidity.
3. The controller will now control the humidity by switching the dehumidifier on and off
based on the desired humidity for day or night. The green LED will light when the
dehumidifier is switched on.
4. Remember that the controller can only remove humidity, this controller cannot add
humidity but there is a humidify version available.
5. A rapid flashing of the green LED indicates a problem with the sensor. Replacement
sensors are available.

Do not immerse this Day and Night Dehumidifier Controller in any liquid and
protect the mains connections from liquids and sprays. The controller is designed
for indoor use only.
Check the controller for damage before you plug it in. If it is damaged then DO
NOT USE. Contact the manufacturer for advice on repair.
Protect the controller from heat and do not place it on a hot surface as the
enclosure may be damaged and therefore make it unsafe.
Always ensure the controller is switched off at the mains before unplugging.
Ensure the power supply used is 230VAC ± 10% and the frequency is 50Hz.
Use of incorrect voltage or frequency will void the warranty.
The maximum load this product has been designed for is 2.5kW and this should
not be exceeded.
The controller can be cleaned by disconnecting it from the mains electricity and
wiping it with a soft cloth.
No ventilation is needed for normal operation of the controller.
DO NOT MODIFY this controller as this will void your warranty.
ONLY OPEN this controller to replace the fuse or the sensor (as described in the
replacement sensor instructions). There are no other user serviceable parts within
the controller.
