The HS-1 (Humidistat station) by TrolMaster is used to control commercial de-humidifiers. Most large or commercial dehumidifiers have a “low-volt” control option so the dehumidifier can be controlled by an external humidistat. The HS-1 is wired exactly like an external humidistat. The HS-1 is the best way to control your dehumidifiers by eliminating the need to control the high-amperage / inrush current associated with dehumidifiers.
The HS-1 Humidistat Station is specifically designed to control your dehumidifier by Day/Night setpoint bases upon the photocell status.
Connect the HS-1 to where your thermostat is on the wall by using the pre-existing wires, now you can use the HS-1 in conjunction with the Hydro-X to control dehumidifier easily.
