Gold Label HydroCoco 60/40

The Gold Label HydroCoco is 60% Hydrocorn clay pebbles & 40% Coco. 60/40 is a very porous and light substrate which allows for liquid and air to pass through it very easily and combines tremendous air volume with great water use and capillary action. The 60/40 mix was developed for the automated systems using pot culture such as the IWS flood & drain or automated drip irrigation systems, growers have also achieved enviable results when used in the Autopot system also. The substarte can be used for hand feeding gardens also but the gardener needs to bear in mind that the coco content is only 40% and thus will require more frequent waterings or the use of a larger pot to and substrate content to compensate this.

The EN volume is measured according to an internationally standardized method, whereby the specific density and humidity are decisive.
