Care, hydration & calibration – all in 1 kit!

Steelroots recommend that you maintain your Bluelab probes on a regular basis, maintaining your Bluelab pH and conductivity probes to ensure ongoing accuracy & longevity is a must! imagine your speedo in a car not been calibrated or accurate! how fast would you know your going?.

Whilst there is no calibration required for conductivity & temperature, there is a need to calibrate your pH probe. The Probe Care Kit contains sachets of pH 4.0, pH 7.0 & KCl solutions for calibrating and storing your pH probes.  A sachet of 2.77 EC standard solution for testing your conductivity probe after cleaning the kit also includes probe cleaner & cleaning instruments.

Improve product longevity with regular calibration:

If you want to improve or maintain your Bluelab pH product’s accuracy and longevity, you’ll need to get into the habit of regular cleaning and calibration, luckily this easy-to-follow calibration process is the same for all Bluelab pH probes and pens.

After cleaning your pH probe, you’ll need to calibrate it with pH calibration solutions at two reference standards - pH 4.0 & pH 7.0, once calibrated you can start measuring pH again immediately knowing that the reading is correct. You’ll need to recalibrate whenever you clean your pH probe and when your meter alerts you that a calibration is needed.
