Essentials LAB pH Buffer 7 is a calibration solution that provides a pH 7 reference point for compatible pH meters and electrodes. Regular calibration helps keep meter readings dependable when checking nutrient solutions, irrigation water and run-off.

Buffer 7 can be used for single-point calibration where the meter supports it. For two-point calibration, use it alongside Essentials LAB pH Buffer 4 and follow the instructions supplied with the meter.

How to use

1. Check the calibration procedure for your pH meter.
2. Pour a small amount of Buffer 7 into a clean, separate container.
3. Calibrate the meter at pH 7 as directed by its manufacturer.
4. If performing two-point calibration, continue with Buffer 4 in the order specified for your meter.

Allow the meter and buffer to reach a similar temperature before calibration. Discard the poured-out solution after use; do not return it to the bottle.
