Plant Success Myco Chum Premium Microbe Food (1-0-3) is a premium, organic soil supplement engineered to supercharge beneficial soil microorganisms and sweeten your crops. It is packed with a proprietary blend of molasses, liquid kelp, fish hydrolysate, and humic acids designed to maximize root expansion, improve nutrient uptake, and optimize plant health from start to finish.

Bottle Sizes & Total Yield Capacity
Because Myco Chum is a highly concentrated liquid, a little goes a long way. Below is a breakdown of how much diluted feed each bottle size produces based on the standard light feed dose (5ml per gallon of water).
  • 16oz (473ml) — Hobbyist & Small Garden Size
    • Total Yield: Makes up to 94 gallons of liquid microbe feed.
    • Best for: Small indoor grows, tent setups, or testing the product for the first time.
  • 32oz (946ml) — The Everyday Grower Standard
    • Total Yield: Makes up to 189 gallons of liquid microbe feed.
    • Best for: Medium-sized indoor gardens, outdoor raised beds, and multi-plant care routines.
  • 1 Gallon (128oz / 3.78L) — Commercial & Bulk Value
    • Total Yield: Makes up to 756 gallons of liquid microbe feed.
    • Best for: Large-scale commercial applications, continuous greenhouse setups, or cost-effectively refilling smaller containers.

Detailed Application Rates & Dosage
Always shake the bottle thoroughly before measuring. Mix the concentrate directly into your water reservoir or watering can using the ratios below:
  • Light Feeding / Maintenance: Mix 5 ml (1 tsp) per 1 gallon (3.8L) of water.
  • Heavy Feeding / Flowering Boost: Mix up to 15 ml (1 tbsp) per 1 gallon (3.8L) of water.
  • Compost Tea Brewing: Mix up to 15 ml (1 tbsp) per 1 gallon (3.8L) of water directly into your tea brewer to feed the reproducing microbes.
  • Crucial Constraint: Do not exceed 15 ml per gallon.

Step-by-Step Instructions by Growth Phase
Myco Chum can be safely utilized in Soil, Coco Coir, and Hydroponic setups throughout the plant's entire lifecycle.
1. Transplants & Early Growth
  • When: Right after moving small clones or seedlings into their permanent pots.
  • Action: Dilute at the light rate (5ml/gal).
  • Application: Pour the mixture directly into the root zone as a top feed to help ease transplant shock and feed early mycorrhizal fungi.
  • Safety Note: Do NOT use Myco Chum directly on unsprouted seeds.
2. Vegetative Phase
  • When: Weekly during structural plant growth.
  • Action: Use 5ml to 10ml per gallon depending on plant size.
  • Application: Water into the media or add to your reservoir feed lines. The fish hydrolysate provides a clean nitrogen boost, while humic acids build root structure.
3. Flowering & Fruiting Phase
  • When: Weekly from early bloom up until the final stretch.
  • Action: Increase to the heavy feeding rate (10ml to 15ml per gallon).
  • Application: Apply to the root zone. The complex carbohydrates from molasses function as a natural sweetener, promoting denser, tastier fruits and larger yields.
  • Harvest Cutoff: Discontinue use 2 weeks before harvest during your final flush period.

Compatibility, Storage & Safety
  • Media Types: Safe for soil, coco coir, hydroponic reservoirs, and automated drip irrigation lines.
  • Storage: Keep the bottle tightly capped and stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Because it contains organic fish and kelp, keeping it cool prevents gas buildup in the container.
  • Certifications: Registered as OMRI Listed for Organic Use.
