How to Prepare Athena Pro Bloom Stock Concentrate

Athena recommends converting Pro Bloom into a concentrated liquid stock solution rather than repeatedly adding small amounts of dry powder directly to a working nutrient reservoir.

For metric preparation, Athena's Pro Line dosage reference uses approximately 2 lb (907 g) of Pro Bloom per 4 litres of final stock concentrate.

1. Part-fill a suitable stock container with clean water.
2. Slowly add the required amount of Athena Pro Bloom while continuously agitating the water.
3. Mix thoroughly until the mineral salts have completely dissolved.
4. Add additional water until the required final stock-solution volume is reached.
5. Continue mixing until the concentrate is completely uniform and no undissolved material remains.

Important: Athena's imperial concentrate is based on 2 lb per US gallon, while its metric reference uses 2 lb per 4 litres. Use the dosing chart that corresponds with the concentration you have prepared.

Reservoir Dosing & EC

Once Pro Bloom has been prepared as a stock concentrate, dose the concentrate into the working reservoir according to the required nutrient strength and target EC.

Athena recommends using its current Pro Line dosage reference rather than relying on one fixed millilitre-per-litre dose for every crop, growth stage and irrigation strategy.

Monitor the reservoir EC after nutrients have been added and adjust the nutrient strength according to the crop, growing medium, environmental conditions and irrigation strategy.

Use With Athena Pro Core

Athena Pro Bloom is designed to work with Athena Pro Core. Pro Bloom supplies the phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and other elements required during flowering, while Pro Core provides complementary nitrogen, calcium and micronutrients.

The two products form the foundation of the Athena Pro Line flowering programme and should be dosed according to Athena's current feed schedule and the required target EC.
