Athena Fade – Nitrogen-Free Finishing Flush for the Final Flowering Stage

Athena Fade is a specialist nitrogen-free finishing formula designed for the final stages of the flowering cycle. It replaces Athena Pro Core during the finish while continuing to supply calcium and essential microelements, helping plants maintain vital nutrition as nitrogen is removed from the feeding programme.

Excess nitrogen late in the flowering cycle can delay maturation. Traditional flushing methods can also remove nutrients that plants may still require during this critical stage. Athena Fade provides a more controlled approach by allowing growers to reduce nitrogen without removing calcium and important micronutrients from the feeding programme.

Designed to integrate directly with the Athena Pro Line, Fade is used alongside Athena Pro Bloom during the final 2–3 weeks of flowering. Its liquid dilution rate corresponds with Pro Core concentrate prepared at 2 lb per US gallon, making the transition from Core to Fade straightforward.

How to Use Athena Fade

During the finishing stage, replace Athena Pro Core with Athena Fade and continue using Fade alongside Athena Pro Bloom according to the appropriate Athena feeding programme.

Recommended application: 10–19 mL per US gallon of water, equivalent to approximately 2.6–5.0 mL per litre.

Use during the final 2–3 weeks of the flowering phase. For exact application rates and system-specific recommendations, always refer to the appropriate current Athena Feed Schedule.

Best Practice

• Shake well before use.
• Always use clean measuring equipment.
• Avoid inserting measuring tools directly into the original container.
• Add fertilisers and additives to water individually.
• Never combine concentrated fertilisers or additives in their undiluted form.
• Monitor EC throughout the finishing stage and adjust according to crop requirements.
• Check and adjust pH only after all fertilisers and additives have been thoroughly mixed.
• Recheck pH when switching from Pro Core to Fade, as Fade is slightly more acidic.
• Store securely closed in the original container between 7°C and 29°C.
