How to Use (Best Practices Guide)

To get the most out of your PLANT-IT YoYos and protect your heavy colas or fruits, follow these simple installation and maintenance steps:

1. Mounting the YoYo

Grow Tents: Hang the top plastic hook of the yoyo housing directly onto your ceiling support poles or roof frame bars.
Greenhouses: Hook the housing onto overhead support wires, crop bars, or frame structures.
Tip: Position the yoyo directly above the branch you intend to support so the line pulls straight upward.

2. Securing the Branch

Pull the retractable nylon string downward toward your plant.
Gently slip the wide, hooked end underneath the heavy flower cluster, fruit cluster, or leaning stem.
Ensure the hook cradles a strong part of the stem node so it does not slide off.

3. Managing Tension & Adjusting

Automatic Mode: Leave the yoyo unlocked. The internal spring will automatically retract and pull upward with gentle tension as the plant grows closer to the light.
Locked Mode (For Very Heavy Fruit): If a branch is exceptionally heavy and requires a rigid, fixed anchor point, pull the line to the desired height and engage the orange locking pin on the side of the casing to lock the string in place.
