Plagron Sugar Royal Amino Acid Nutrient Additive

Plagron Sugar Royal is a concentrated amino-acid nutrient additive developed to support the formation of naturally occurring aromatic compounds in flowering and fruiting plants. Its nitrogen-rich formulation supplies 18 different amino acids, helping plants conserve energy and nutrients that would otherwise be required to produce these compounds internally.

The supplied amino acids support the enzymes and precursor compounds involved in the formation of terpenes, essential oils and other aromatic plant compounds. Sugar Royal is suitable for peat and coco substrates and can be used throughout the cultivation cycle alongside an appropriate base nutrient.

How Plagron Sugar Royal Works

Plants can naturally synthesise the amino acids required for growth and development, but this process consumes energy and nutrients. Sugar Royal supplies 18 amino acids directly, reducing the amount of internal synthesis required and allowing plant resources to be used elsewhere.

Amino acids contribute to the formation of enzymes and precursor compounds involved in natural terpene and essential-oil production. They can also provide a food source for microorganisms living within peat and coco growing media.

• 10 litres of water: add no more than 10 ml
• 25 litres of water: add no more than 25 ml
• 50 litres of water: add no more than 50 ml
• 100 litres of water: add no more than 100 ml

How to Use

1. Shake the container thoroughly before use.
2. Prepare the base nutrient solution appropriate to the growing medium.
3. Add a maximum of 1 ml of Sugar Royal per litre of water.
4. Mix the solution thoroughly before application.
5. Use with each watering from the second week of vegetative growth.

Sugar Royal is a supplementary additive and should not replace a complete base nutrient. Always follow the Plagron growing schedule appropriate to the selected substrate and nutrient range.

Growing-System Compatibility

Plagron Sugar Royal is suitable for peat and coco substrates. When applied through an irrigation system, flush the pipework after use to help prevent organic material from accumulating inside the lines.

Sugar Royal is not suitable for recirculating hydroponic methods such as nutrient film technique (NFT), deep-water culture (DWC) or aeroponics.

Compatibility with Other Plagron Products

Sugar Royal can be combined with Plagron Green Sensation because the two additives perform different functions. Sugar Royal supplies amino acids, while Green Sensation provides a separate flowering-stage formulation.

Plagron also permits Sugar Royal to be applied as a foliar feed. However, foliar applications should stop after the third week of flowering to prevent residues from affecting the final crop.

Plagron Sugar Royal is manufactured in 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 litre, 5 litre, 10 litre and 20 litre containers. Size availability may vary by market.

Storage

Store and transport between 0°C and 35°C. Protect the product from frost and direct sunlight, keep the container securely closed and shake thoroughly before every use. Keep out of reach of children.
