Hailea ACO Air Pumps for Hydroponics, Aquariums and Ponds

Hailea ACO air pumps provide a dependable supply of air for oxygenating hydroponic nutrient reservoirs, aquariums and small ponds. The range includes compact single-outlet pumps alongside higher-output models for larger systems and multiple air stones.

Choose from the ACO-2201, ACO-2202, ACO-2204, ACO-2206 and ACO-2208 according to the airflow and number of outlets required. The ACO-2202 has one air outlet.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Provides continuous aeration for nutrient solutions and water systems
  • Suitable for hydroponic reservoirs, aquariums and compatible pond applications
  • Helps maintain dissolved oxygen around submerged plant roots
  • Diaphragm pump design provides efficient, oil-free airflow
  • Rubber feet help reduce movement and vibration
  • Five models available for different airflow requirements
  • Compatible with suitable airline, air stones and manifolds

Available Hailea ACO Models

Model Air Outlets Approximate Airflow Power
ACO-2201 1 1.3 litres per minute 1.8 W
ACO-2202 1 1.6 litres per minute 2 W
ACO-2204 2 4 litres per minute total 4 W
ACO-2206 4 Up to 10 litres per minute total 8 W
ACO-2208 1 main outlet 30 litres per minute 25 W

The ACO-2208 has one main pump outlet. A compatible manifold can be used when its airflow needs to be divided between multiple airlines.

Choosing the Correct Model

The smaller ACO-2201 and ACO-2202 pumps suit individual air stones and compact reservoirs. The twin-outlet ACO-2204 can supply two airlines, while the four-outlet ACO-2206 is suited to systems requiring several aeration points.

The higher-output ACO-2208 is intended for larger reservoirs, pond aeration or installations where its airflow will be distributed through a compatible manifold. Airflow at each air stone will depend on airline length, water depth, restrictions and the accessories used.

How to Use

  1. Position the pump in a dry, well-ventilated location above the water level wherever possible.
  2. Connect suitable airline securely to each outlet being used.
  3. Attach compatible air stones or other aeration accessories.
  4. Place the air stones in the reservoir and connect the pump to an appropriate power supply.
  5. Inspect the airline regularly for kinks, blockages and loose connections.

Important Information

  • Keep the pump dry and do not submerge it.
  • Use a non-return valve where the pump must be installed below the water level.
  • Do not completely obstruct the airflow while the pump is operating.
  • Airline, air stones, non-return valves and manifolds are not included unless specifically stated in the selected product variant.
  • Check the specification printed on the supplied unit before installation.
