Gold Label Hydrocorn is an expanded clay growing medium for hydroponic cultivation. This 45 litre bag contains irregular 8–16 mm pebbles that support plants while providing spaces for air around the roots.

Hydrocorn combines drainage with moisture retention within its porous structure. It is suitable for flood and drain and top-fed irrigation systems, making it a practical choice for growing vegetables, herbs and ornamental plants without soil.

Preparation & Use

Before filling the system, rinse the pebbles with clean water to remove loose clay dust. Keep loose particles out of reservoirs, pumps and irrigation lines.

Use a suitable hydroponic nutrient solution and follow the nutrient manufacturer's feeding guidance. Adjust irrigation frequency to the plant, container and system rather than applying a fixed watering schedule.

Choose the Correct Gold Label Pebbles

Standard Hydrocorn contains irregular 8–16 mm pebbles. It is different from Hydrocorn XL, which contains larger pebbles, and Gold Label Hydro Round Pebble, which has a rounded shape and different water absorption characteristics.
