Because sheet metal bodies hold their round shape permanently, they will not collapse under heavy tension. To ensure an airtight, rattle-free seal, secure the ducting over the male flanges using silver aluminium tape, heavy-duty jubilee clips, fast clamps, or self-drilling metal rivets.
