120V Power Cord for Faven R6 and R8 Under-Canopy Lights

The Faven R Series 120V Power Cord provides the mains connection required to operate compatible Faven R6 and R8 under-canopy LED lights on a suitable 120V electrical supply. Measuring approximately 3 metres long, it provides practical reach between the lighting system and its power source.

An accessory dimming wire is included, supporting connection to compatible Faven lighting-control equipment. This product is intended specifically for the Faven R Series and should not be treated as a universal lighting cable.

This power cord is designed for the following fixtures:

• Faven R8 Under-Canopy Light

It is not listed by Faven as a power cord for the newer Chroma series. The correct Chroma power-cord bundle should be selected for those fixtures.

Daisy-Chain Planning

Faven states that a 120V R Series circuit can support a maximum of 10 compatible fixtures in a correctly configured daisy chain. Each bench requires at least one suitable power cord. Additional cords may be required when the fixture count exceeds the manufacturer’s maximum or when separate lighting rows cannot be linked safely.

The permitted number of fixtures can also be limited by the circuit, protective equipment, local electrical regulations and other connected loads. The installation should be assessed by a competent electrician rather than relying only on the theoretical fixture limit.

Important UK Voltage Notice

This is a 120V cord and must not be connected directly to a standard UK 230V mains supply unless the complete installation has been confirmed as electrically compatible. A basic plug-shape adaptor does not convert 230V electricity to 120V.

Before purchase or installation, confirm the fixture input rating, cord connector, mains plug, transformer requirements and intended supply voltage. Electrical installation in a commercial or high-moisture environment should be completed by a suitably qualified person.

Installation and Safety

1. Disconnect the electrical supply before installing or removing the cord.
2. Confirm that the fixture is a compatible Faven R6 or R8 model.
3. Verify that the supply voltage and plug connection are correct.
4. Secure the fixture-side connection fully before energising the circuit.
5. Route the cable away from standing water, sharp edges, heat and walkways.
6. Do not exceed Faven’s stated daisy-chain limit or the circuit’s safe capacity.

Do not use the cable if its insulation, plug, connector or dimming lead is damaged. Always follow the fixture manual and applicable UK electrical safety requirements.
