CANNA Terra Flores One-Part Flowering Nutrient for Soil

CANNA Terra Flores is a complete one-part mineral base nutrient developed for flowering and fruiting plants grown in soil and peat-based potting mixes. It replaces CANNA Terra Vega when plants move from vegetative growth into the flowering stage.

The formulation supplies the changing balance of nutrients required during flowering, when plants generally need proportionally less nitrogen and more phosphorus and potassium. Essential nutrients and trace elements are supplied in soluble forms suitable for container-grown plants and intensive horticultural feeding programmes.

Because Terra Flores is supplied as a single liquid concentrate, there are no separate A and B components to measure. It mixes quickly with water and can be used for hand watering or through suitable automated irrigation systems.

Suitable Growing Media

CANNA Terra Flores is intended for plants growing in:

• Soil
• Peat-based potting mixes
• CANNA Terra Professional
• CANNA Terra Professional Plus
• Similar fertilised or lightly fertilised container-growing substrates

Terra Flores is not the correct CANNA base nutrient for coco coir or dedicated hydroponic systems. CANNA COCO, CANNA AQUA or CANNA HYDRO nutrients should be selected for those growing methods.

How to Use CANNA Terra Flores

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
2. Fill the watering container or nutrient reservoir with water.
3. Add up to 50 mL of CANNA Terra Flores per 10 litres of water, equivalent to 5 mL per litre.
4. Mix the solution thoroughly.
5. Check the EC and pH before application and adjust where necessary.
6. Apply during the flowering and fruiting stages according to the current CANNA TERRA feeding schedule.

The appropriate concentration and feeding frequency depend on the plant, growth stage, container size, irrigation frequency, source-water EC and the amount of nutrition already present in the growing medium.

Feeding Frequency

Plants growing intensively in lightly fertilised soil may require Terra Flores more frequently. When using a nutrient-rich or pre-fertilised potting mix, fewer applications may be needed. CANNA indicates that feeding can range from daily use in low-nutrient media to approximately one to three applications per week in richer soil.

Monitor plant response and avoid keeping the growing medium continuously saturated. Allow the substrate to achieve an appropriate moisture and air balance between irrigations.

Recommended pH

After adding the required nutrients, CANNA commonly recommends a final pH of approximately 5.8–6.2 for the TERRA feeding programme. The correct target may vary with the crop, water supply and growing medium, so the current CANNA schedule and product label should take priority.

Using Terra Flores in the CANNA TERRA Programme

CANNA Terra Flores is the flowering-stage base nutrient within the CANNA TERRA range. It follows Terra Vega and may be used alongside compatible CANNA additives according to the official feeding schedule.

Compatible products can include CANNA RHIZOTONIC, CANNAZYM, CANNABOOST Accelerator and CANNA PK 13/14. These are optional supplements and do not replace Terra Flores as the base flowering nutrient.
