CANNA RHIZOTONIC is a concentrated, vegetable-based root stimulator designed to support vigorous root development and help plants establish successfully. It is particularly useful during propagation, early vegetative growth, transplanting and repotting, as well as when plants require additional support following environmental stress.

Developed by CANNA, RHIZOTONIC can be used across a wide range of growing media and irrigation methods. It is suitable for peat-based mixes, coco coir, rockwool, clay pebbles and other inert hydroponic substrates, making it a versatile root additive for indoor and outdoor horticulture.

When to Use CANNA RHIZOTONIC

RHIZOTONIC is particularly useful when rapid root establishment is important. It can be incorporated during propagation and early plant development, used following transplanting or repotting, and continued at lower rates as plants progress through their growth cycle.

CANNA also recommends RHIZOTONIC where plants have experienced heat, drought or transplant-related stress.

Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. When repotting or establishing plants, CANNA recommends the stronger first-application rate of 40 mL per 10 litres of water.

How to Use

1. Shake CANNA RHIZOTONIC thoroughly before use.
2. Fill the nutrient reservoir with water.
3. Add the appropriate base nutrients and additives for the chosen feeding programme.
4. Add RHIZOTONIC at the appropriate rate for the current growth stage.
5. Mix the nutrient solution thoroughly.
6. Check and adjust the final pH after the nutrients and additives have been added.

RHIZOTONIC naturally affects nutrient-solution pH, so final pH adjustment should be carried out after it has been mixed into the solution.

Suitable Growing Media

CANNA RHIZOTONIC can be used with a broad range of horticultural substrates, including:

Suitable Irrigation Systems

RHIZOTONIC can be used with hand watering and compatible hydroponic irrigation systems. For recirculating and drip-irrigation systems, CANNA recommends renewing the nutrient solution every 5–7 days.

Foliar Application

CANNA RHIZOTONIC can also be used as a foliar application. When applying products to foliage, follow the manufacturer's current application guidance and avoid spraying under intense light or heat.
