9mm Top Hat Grommet (High Flow)

Installation Instructions for a Perfect Seal

Preparation: Drill a clean hole (10mm for 6mm grommets, 12.5mm for 9mm grommets) near the bottom of your reservoir. Ensure all plastic burrs are removed.
Insertion: Push the grommet into the hole until the "brim" of the hat sits flush against the outside of the tank.
Connection: Wet the end of your pipe with water or a small amount of dish soap to reduce friction, then slide it through the grommet.
Locking: For maximum security, push a 13-6mm or 13-9mm Filter into the end of the pipe inside the tank. This expands the pipe slightly, locking the grommet into place for a fail-safe seal.
