Athena Blended Line Balance is a highly concentrated potassium silicate formula designed to improve the stability and buffering capacity of irrigation water. Developed particularly for use with reverse osmosis (RO), purified and soft water, Athena Balance helps create a more stable starting point before nutrients are added.

Low-mineral and RO water can have very little natural buffering capacity, making it susceptible to rapid changes in pH. Athena Balance supplies potassium silicate to help stabilise the source water while providing plants with available silicon and potassium.

Why Use Athena Balance?

Athena Balance is more than a conventional pH adjustment product. Its concentrated potassium silicate formulation helps condition low-mineral water while supplying silicon to support strong, healthy plant development.

Silicon can help reinforce plant cell walls, supporting stronger stems, improved structural rigidity and greater resilience to environmental stresses, including elevated temperatures.

Athena Balance Mixing & Dosage

Standard application:
Use 2–5 mL per US gallon of water, equivalent to approximately 5.3–13.2 mL per 10 litres.

High-demand RO water:
Athena Balance can be used at rates of up to 10 mL per US gallon, equivalent to approximately 26.4 mL per 10 litres, where additional buffering or an increase in base EC is required.

Important Mixing Instructions

Always add Athena Balance to clean water FIRST.

Mix Athena Balance thoroughly into the source water before introducing fertilisers, nutrients or other additives. This allows the potassium silicate to condition and stabilise the water before the remainder of the nutrient solution is prepared.

For best results, monitor EC and pH with properly calibrated meters and adjust application rates according to your source water and growing requirements.

Important: Athena Balance is not recommended for use with NetaFlex mechanical systems.
