Designed for Aether Under Canopy Lighting

Aether's 120W LED fixtures are designed specifically for supplemental under-canopy lighting. Each R8W fixture measures approximately 115.8 cm long, making suitable support and positioning important when installing the light beneath a plant canopy.

The Aether stands provide dedicated support at either end of the fixture, creating a straightforward floor-mounted installation without requiring the light to be suspended from tent poles or an overhead framework.

Why Use Dedicated Under Canopy LED Stands?

Under-canopy lighting needs to be positioned differently from conventional overhead horticultural lighting. The fixture needs to remain stable while being placed low enough to direct supplemental light into areas beneath dense foliage.

Using dedicated stands provides a practical mounting point for the Aether LED and helps keep the fixture raised from the floor or growing-area surface. This also makes it easier to maintain an organised lighting layout around containers, trays and irrigation equipment.

Product Specifications

Simple Under Canopy Installation

1. Position the two stands on a stable, level surface beneath the canopy.
2. Space the stands appropriately to support the compatible Aether LED fixture.
3. Position the light securely on the stands.
4. Check that the complete assembly is stable before connecting the lighting system.
5. Route power, daisy-chain and control cables carefully to avoid creating trip hazards or placing electrical connections in standing water.
6. Adjust the position of the installation as required to achieve the desired supplemental light distribution.

Complete the Aether Under Canopy System

These stands can be combined with the Aether 120W Under Canopy LED Lights and compatible Aether connection accessories to create a clean, expandable supplemental lighting installation.

Aether R8W fixtures support 0–10V dimming and can be daisy-chained with up to 15 fixtures, making the wider Aether system suitable for both smaller indoor gardens and larger horticultural lighting installations.
