Aether 90cm Daisy Chain Lead is a dedicated connection cable for expanding an Aether under-canopy LED lighting system. Measuring approximately 90cm (3ft) long, the lead connects compatible Aether LED fixtures together, allowing multiple lights to operate as part of a linked installation.

Designed for the Aether 120W Under Canopy LED system, this link cable provides additional spacing between fixtures where direct connection is unsuitable. It is particularly useful when lights need to be positioned separately across a growing area while remaining part of the same daisy-chained lighting system.

Designed for Aether Under Canopy LEDs

The Aether Daisy Chain Lead is designed as an accessory for the Aether 120W Under Canopy LED lighting system. Aether's R8W fixture is a 120W horticultural LED designed for above- or below-canopy installation and supports expandable daisy-chain connectivity.

Using the 90cm link lead allows compatible fixtures to be separated while maintaining the connection between them, providing greater flexibility when arranging multiple lights around containers, trays, irrigation equipment and other growing-area infrastructure.

Why Use the 90cm Daisy Chain Lead?

Aether LED fixtures can form part of a multi-light under-canopy installation. Where fixtures are positioned directly alongside one another, close connection may be possible, but real-world installations often require additional space between individual lights.

The 90cm Daisy Chain Lead provides this additional connection distance, allowing the lighting layout to be adapted around the available space while keeping compatible Aether fixtures linked together.

Expandable Aether Lighting

Aether specifies that up to 15 compatible fixtures can be daisy-chained within the R8W lighting system. This allows an installation to be expanded from a small number of under-canopy lights into a larger supplemental lighting layout.

The Aether system also supports 0–10V dimming, while the R8W fixtures carry an IP66 rating. The Daisy Chain Lead forms part of this wider modular lighting system alongside Aether LED fixtures, mounting stands and compatible control equipment.

Installation

1. Switch off and disconnect the lighting system from the mains supply before making or changing connections.
2. Position the compatible Aether LED fixtures in their required locations.
3. Connect the 90cm Daisy Chain Lead between the compatible connection points on the two fixtures.
4. Check that each connection is fully seated and secure.
5. Route the cable carefully to prevent strain, snagging or trip hazards.
6. Reconnect the lighting system only after checking the complete installation.
