Eazy Block Organic Transplanting Cubes offer the next generation of sustainable plant cultivation for UK growers. Made from a biodegradable blend of premium coco coir, peat, and organic binders, these cubes are designed without any outer plastic wrapping. This unique structure allows plant roots to grow directly to the edges, introducing natural air-pruning.

When the root tips hit the dry air, they naturally stop growing and die back, stimulating an absolute explosion of secondary roots and fine root hairs throughout the entire block. They are supplied completely dry, rendering them exceptionally clean, lightweight to transport, and immune to mould with an unlimited storage shelf life. Each block comes pre-buffered with a balanced pH of 5.8, an EC of 1.0, and enough basic organic fertiliser to feed your young plants for their first 2 to 3 weeks.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Satiating and Soaking

Submerge the dry Eazy Block completely in water or a mild nutrient solution. Ensure the liquid is ideally adjusted to a pH between 5.8 and 6.0.
Allow the block to suck up the liquid. It will hydrate exceptionally fast, expanding slightly and feeling heavy.
Lift the block out and let the excess fluid drain away freely. Do not squeeze, press, or shake the block. It is completely self-regulating and will retain exactly what it needs.

2. Inserting the Plug

Once your seed or cutting has rooted inside a standard Eazy Plug and is ready to move up, simply take the entire plug and push it straight into the central hole at the top of the Eazy Block.
Ensure it fits snugly. The established roots will immediately grow through into the larger block without encountering any transplant shock.

3. Growth Phase & Air-Pruning

Place the Eazy Block onto a flat surface or drainage tray where the sides are exposed to open air.
As the roots grow and poke through the un-wrapped outer edges, they will dry out and die back. This triggers massive lateral root expansion internally.
Water the block from the bottom or using top-drip irrigation when the cube becomes noticeably lighter.

4. Final Moving Up

Once the Eazy Block is fully bound with a dense web of healthy white roots, you can plant the entire block directly into your final growing setup—whether that is a larger hydroponic system (like Flood and Drain or Drip-feed), coco coir pots, or standard outdoor garden soil.
