CANNA Coco A&B – Complete Two-Part Nutrient for Coco Growing

CANNA Coco A&B is a concentrated two-part mineral nutrient developed specifically for plants grown in coco substrates. Unlike nutrient programmes that use separate grow and bloom base feeds, CANNA Coco A&B uses one balanced A and B formulation throughout both the vegetative and flowering stages.

Designed around the particular characteristics of coco coir, the formula contains mineral nutrients alongside natural chelates, humic acids and fulvic acids. It is suitable for use with CANNA coco substrates and a wide range of hand-watering and automated irrigation systems.

Why Does CANNA Coco Use Separate A & B Components?

CANNA Coco is supplied as two concentrates because certain mineral elements can react when combined at high concentration. Keeping them in separate A and B bottles maintains the stability of the concentrated nutrients.

Never mix CANNA Coco A and Coco B together in concentrated form. Coco A should first be diluted thoroughly into the reservoir water before Coco B is added.

How to Use CANNA Coco A&B

1. Shake both bottles thoroughly before use.
2. Fill the nutrient reservoir with water.
3. Add 40 mL of CANNA Coco A per 10 litres of water and stir thoroughly.
4. Add 40 mL of CANNA Coco B per 10 litres of water and stir thoroughly again.
5. Allow the mixed nutrient solution to stand before use.
6. Check and adjust the final EC and pH according to the crop, water quality and current CANNA feeding schedule.

CANNA Coco A&B Mixing Rate

The manufacturer's standard dilution is 1:250 for each component. Actual nutrient requirements can vary according to plant type, growth stage, environmental conditions, water quality and existing water EC.

• Recommended pH: 5.5–6.2
• Manufacturer-stated EC range: 1.2–2.3 mS/cm when mixed with tap water, including the starting EC of the water.

Always consider the EC of the source water when preparing a nutrient solution rather than treating the nutrient EC independently of the water being used.

Suitable Growing Media & Irrigation Systems

CANNA Coco A&B is intended for cultivation in coco substrates and is particularly suited to the CANNA COCO range. It can be used with hand-fed containers as well as compatible run-to-waste, flood and ebb-and-flow irrigation systems.

Available Sizes

CANNA Coco A&B is available in 500 mL, 1 L, 5 L, 10 L and 20 L sizes. A and B must always be used together in equal quantities as the complete base nutrient.

Storage & Important Information

• Never combine undiluted Coco A and Coco B concentrates directly.
• Always dilute Coco A into water and mix thoroughly before adding Coco B.
• Store closed in a dark, frost-free location.
