Athena Stack is a premium kelp-extract plant nutrient developed to support healthy plant growth, transition and flowering. With an NPK ratio of 0-0-1, Stack provides readily available potassium and kelp-derived nutrition that can be applied either as a foliar spray or directly to the root zone.

What Does Athena Stack Do?

Athena Stack provides kelp-derived nutrients and potassium during periods of active plant development. Athena positions Stack specifically for supporting plant growth, transition and flowering while supplying building blocks that help plants maintain normal function under changing environmental conditions.

The product can be applied directly to foliage for rapid contact with leaf surfaces or used as a diluted root drench alongside the normal fertiliser programme.

When to Use Athena Stack

Athena recommends applying Stack from the final week of vegetative growth through to Week 3 of flowering, or until vertical plant growth has stopped.

This application window makes Stack especially useful during the transition between vegetative and reproductive development.

Athena Stack Application Rates

Foliar Spray Instructions

For foliar use, mix 7 mL of Athena Stack per US gallon of water, equivalent to approximately 1.85 mL per litre.

1. Add the required amount of Athena Stack to clean water.
2. Mix thoroughly before application.
3. Apply evenly to the foliage once per week.
4. Spray while high-intensity grow lights are switched off.
5. Allow foliage to dry before switching the lights back on.
6. Do not foliar spray Stack beyond Week 3 of flowering.

Root Drench Instructions

For root-zone application, mix 1–2 mL of Athena Stack per US gallon of water, approximately 0.26–0.53 mL per litre.

Stack may be used alongside a regular fertiliser programme. Athena recommends adding Stack last to the nutrient reservoir.

Transplant Use

Mix 2 mL per US gallon of water. Bare roots can be soaked in the diluted solution for approximately 30–60 seconds before transplanting, or the diluted solution can be applied after transplanting.

Seed Treatment

For Athena's seed-treatment method, mix 4 mL per US gallon of water and soak seeds for approximately 1–2 minutes before planting.

Using Stack with an Existing Nutrient Programme

Athena Stack can be incorporated into both mineral feeding programmes and professional irrigation strategies. When used as a root drench, add the normal base fertilisers and additives to the reservoir first, then add Stack last.

Always check the final EC and pH of the complete nutrient solution before irrigation.

Suitable for Irrigation Systems

Athena states that Stack is safe for use in irrigation systems when correctly diluted. Because the formulation contains organic kelp-derived ingredients, some natural separation may occur during storage.

Best Practice
